Sygate, supplier of the superb free personal firewall amongst other
things, have set up a free service that will check your system for security
issues like unblocked ports and trojans. There is a quick scan, which
will quickly show if you have major problems, as well as several separate
detailed checks.
Set up free mailing groups at smartgroups.com. Groups can be private
or open to all. Members can choose to receive messages as individual
emails, regular digests or online on the group website. The group site
has many features such as group calendar, photo album, file storage
and online database.
The group administrator can control many features of the group's site
such as who has rights to add new items to the photo album or calendar.
